Como siempre la comida espectacular. mi reservacion no estaba lista y me mandaron a la barra a tomar un trago de la casa... buen servicio, como ningun lado en panama.

I have no idea why it has taken me so long to come back to this restaurant, however I'm happy to say that it is still most excellent! I can see that the problem with this review will be how can I not keep repeating the word "excellent" all of the time! I think my reason for visiting less frequently is that I would reserve this place for special occasions, to keep it 'special'. Portions are correctly sized for fine dining and very well presented. We were a big group and the wait staff looked after us very well indeed with no problems at all. The cocktails we had were amazing. The house special Mojito is good for those with a sweet tooth and one of the finest I've tried. I had the "Refresa" which was lemon and pineapple infused with a lot of alcohol...more bitter, with a touch of sweetness and enough to make it very refreshing...and keep me from driving home after 4 of them. Starters were "Dos Mares"...wonderful fish carpaccio with some fried fish in the middle and drizzles of sticky sweet loveliness around...and I had patacones/shrimp balls with tomato salsa and a herb green creamy salsa....wish I'd had the "Aji Chombo" spicy tuna...that looked amazing! Next we both had risotto. Black ink with squid...and I had "Colon Risotto" with calamari, shrimp and octopus in coconut milk. Mine was excellent (...sorry) but the black ink one was outstanding! We finished off with tiramisu (small criticism...slightly hard biscuit that had not fully absorbed the alcohol...). Overall, this restaurant deserves ALL of the high praise and accolades it receives...Mr.Owner you have created one of the very best...the chef is also a keeper...thanks.

Es uno de mis favoritos. La comida es excelente. Me encanta el ceviche frito, la entraña, los calamares rellenos de risotto negro, el tiramisu. Todo lo que hemos pedido nos ha encantado. Recomiendo reservar porqe tanto para el almuerzo como para la cena siempre estan bastante llenos.

Definitivamente Maito pasa a ser uno de mis Restaurantes Favoritos, el ambiente es super tranquilo, la atencion es esmerada y la comida es excelente tuvimos la oportunidad de probar cochinita pibil, la ensalada de queso de cabra, las baby back ribs en salsa de maracuya y el cochinillo en hojas de platano, de postre manzanas caramelizadas con una milhoja crocante todo estaba espectacular. excelente restaurant!

Sabor, arte y creatividad se combinan para obtener un resultado simplemente magistral!
