Umi The Bar

El lugar es super chevere, buenos vinos y los nigiris son muy frescos, un poco costoso para su tamaño pero es buena experiencia.

Umi is definitely one of the best Japanese, non teppanyaki, restaurants I've been too. The food is very well prepared and plated. The drinks, Blossom Negroni, and a Maracuya Rum Cocktail were OK. Nothing to overally praise. But be very warned..... Do not go hungry and on a budget. Umi is one of the most expensive eateries I've ever been to. And we both left hungry. The service itself was very good, but extremely way toooooo fast. No time to allow my wife or I to savor the bites. We were done with all food ordered in less than 30 minutes after arrival. We later went to another eatery for additional food. The Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, and Hamachi hand rolls were the stars of the experience. The chicken wontos were fried perfectly with great taste. The Kimchi edamame had the perfect blend of spicy heat and mellow texture. The nigiris were all great. The music was too loud to have a decent conversation and the seating was very narrow.

Tiene un estilo tan diferente que una vez entras en el restaurante largo y angosto quedas atrapado en una atmósfera fuera de serie, la decoración y la ambientación hacen de UMI un sitio increíble, la comida es estupenda y los tragos muy buenos

Fuimos a celebrar el cumpleaños de alguien muy especial y nos encantó. Cómo éramos varios, no pudimos disfrutar de la experiencia en la barra, pero ya queremos volver para ver que tal. El pisco sour de matcha, súper delicioso, igual los nigiris, los hand-roll y los chicken wontons.

Definitely the best bar experience in town. if you like recommendations and great service try to sit at the bar - the experience will be so much better!
