Leños & Carbón (Causeway)

Ayer fui a comer con un grupo de turistas alemanes (19 personas) que pudieron elegir entre 3 platos del restaurantes: filet de corvina a la plancha, folet de pollo a la plancha y Punta Palomilla a la parilla. Salieron excellente los 3 platos - clientes satisfecho con una comida caliente, deliciosa y un buen servicio. El ambiente es muy bonito con la vista al mar viendo la marina y la ciudad. El flan de postre es el mas rico que he probado en Panama.

La verdad habia ido antes a comer alli y lo habia disfrutado bastante aunque esta tarde fuimos y por nuestra parte no lo visitaremos mas. Tuvimos que devolver la carne y lamentablemente parece que les disgusto tanto que no sabemos que le hicieron a la carne que nos llego despues. No vamos mas.

Es un buen lugar para comer algo diferente, puedes comer Medallones de Res que en mi concepto es excelente al igual que puedes decidir entre estar dentro del restaurante o en la terraza el cual tiene unos vidrios donde te da la sensación de estar pisando la playa. El servicio no es el mejor , falta mas coordinación pero pasa por regular.

Service was absolutely terrible and the place was absolutely filthy with food and rubbish all over the floor on the deck. Broken chairs at the tables on the deck as well as dirty table clothes which we had to ask to be changed a few times before somebody actually came and changed it. The restaurant was relatively empty as we had decided to have an early dinner so there was no excuse for it not being clean. There was more than enough staff to serve the few guests that were there but the staff were more interested in their Blackberrys or talking to each other than looking after paying clients. There were two managers who were sitting down at one of the tables have dinner and not paying the least bit of attention to what was going on around them. When the meals finally arrived we had to ask 3 times for cutlery and napkins which never came. I had to get up and go find them myself with the staff standing around watching, never once offering assistance. Our drinks never arrived after asking at least 5 times for them. I would never recommend this dump to anybody unless you want to be disappointed. I have photos of the food and rubbish all over the floor which I am unable to post here but if management would like to contact me I can prove to you how embarrassingly dirty your restaurant is.

Bella vista, comida buena y abundante, buena relación entre precio y calidad de los platos.
