Salón Cantón (San Francisco)

Este restaurante brinda un abanico de comida china muy buena con porciones para compartir. Ideal para ir en grupos y celebrar cumpleaños o reuniones. La comida es de calidad y el servicio muy bueno. Esta sucursal es más pequeña que la de Costa del Este, pero la plaza donde está ubicado cuenta con estacionamientos. Recomendado!!

I can't take away anything from the food. It is very good. I just wish that if the owners/mangers are to offer an Oferta Simple, they be more gracious when one is presented to them.

I can't take anything off of the quality of the food at Salon Canton, but on this visit the service was lacking. From the moment I sat down at the table, the server approached me and talked in such a low volume that I had to lean forward, request she repeat what she said and then even apologize for my advanced age and lack of hearing, which were both severe exaggerations, to have her speak with a louder voice. Then when my wife and my other two friends joined us, and we wanted to order the same female waitress attempted to memorize our order. I politely suggested that she write down the order but she replied with annoyance that writing it down would not be needed. When I asked her to repeat the order back to me, she obviously made mistakes and only then she acquiesced and got a note pad and jotted down the order. The food was, as usual, very good. But even when I requested the check, the calculations were incorrect. This is unusual for Salon Canton but I hope it is only a fluke and not a pattern.

Another great meal there. The Mongolian beef along with the Shenzhuan beef were delicious. Paired very well with vegetable fried rice and buda veggies. Great meal.

Salón Cantón is a fantastic place to eat Asian food. They have a mix of Chinese foods, from Szechuan, Cantonese, to Mongolian. The menu is varied enough for all appetites. I could only sample a few items, but all were executed perfectly. The Thai styled beef lettuce wraps were large and filled with a diced tender beef and vegetable mixture that was very tasty, and quite filling. The vegetable fried rice pair greatly with the spicy Szechuan beef and beef with ginger and scallions. I particularly liked the Szechuan better but bother were excellent. The sauces were delicious and the beef tasty and tender. I will definitely go back to try other dishes. .
