Excellent option for lunch. It will not be a light lunch. Unlimited Salad bar and skewered grilled proteins. If you want a place to. Load up on protein, this is the place.

The lunch special is definitely worth it! The meats are OK. Can't race about them. The picanha with garlic is a bit tough and the outside texture quite unpleasant for my taste. The chicken thighs and breast were good. The skirt steak is ruined by the commercial pamesan cheese they insist on melting on it. The salad bar is very worth the coat of the meal. Go for the salads and sides and then go for the meats.
The meats are not tender at all. Most of them are vet tough. The cubed beef with garlic tastes good but has a very off-putting outside texture. The servers slice the meat so thin that all the meat is crust. I was asking for double thickness slices so I can taste the meat. The best, IMHO, is the bacon wrapped chicken breasts ans the chicken drumsticks. The salad bar is very good, but whe the hearts of palm were finished the kitchen did not replenish the platter. That was the case for many salad bar items. The service was very bad till I called the attention to one of the hostesses. For 30 minutes no skewers came out. It felt like this was deliberate in order for us to indulge in the salad bar instead of the meats.
The all you can eat "salad" bar is the reason I go back to Os Segredos Da Carne. It is not for the meats. Their is no way to get the meats served to you at the temperature that you like the best. The skirt steak only comes topped with cheese that over powers the meat flavor. I would rather have the option of only paying for the salad bar.
If not for the great friends and my wife last night at the restaurant the meal at Os Segredos Da Carne would not have been at all enjoyable. The attraction is the meats. and I tried most of them. One particular example is the skirt steak, it is only offered with a coating of Parmesan cheese, never without cheese. The punta de palomilla was extremely tough and chewy. The concept is just not to my liking; there is no way to get the meat at the your preferred doneness. Meaning its a hit or miss game if you like meat Medium Rare. And most of the meat I tasted was over salted and very tough or very fatty. I would rather pay a third of the price only for the salad bar. That part of the meal I enjoyed.
