We went to Azafrán and were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We were two couples and we're seated immediately. I started with a ceviche appetizer that was corvina with mango cubes and a maracuya & lemon broth which was excellent. My main dish was the robalo in a small casserole in light sauce. This too was great. My wife had a seared tuna that was a beautiful plate to look at and equally tasty. It is a bit pricey but the flavors, presentation and service warranted the cost.

Deliciosas las chuletas de cordero y el queso manchego. La sangría blanca estuvo excelente. Muy buen servicio y el ambiente muy tranquilo y elegante. Definitivamente volvería al restaurante, aunque menos frecuente por lo costoso.

This restaurant is tucked away in San Francisco. It is a bit difficult to find but it is worth the effort. It has a very simple facade but inside it is elegant and cosy. We were a big group and we decided to try all the appetizers. The croquettes was my favorite. For main course the chuleta cordero was cooked well and is very tender. It is a bit on the pricey side but I would recommend it for special occasions.
