Return visit to try some new dishes....went for Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant almost full with Panamanians. I had every intention to work my way through many items on the menu with time to kill....but thankfully (for my waistline) I could only manage 2 dishes....however both new to me and left me very satisfied. Firstly I had "dahi puri" - puffed up (hollow) rice balls (10) filled with mildly spiced potato with yoghurt (sour) and chutney (sweet). Delicious. Lastly I had a "chicken dosa".....and I have to say "wow". It is a very large thin and crispy rice pancake (slightly sweet) filled with shredded curried chicken with onions and green pepper. Then to accompany it is a small bowl of "sambar" (delicious mildy spiced vegetable broth) and an even smaller bowl of yoghurt mixed with mint and coconut. Basically, I poured both small bowls over my dosa and then ate it. I have to say this is one of the best things I have eaten in an Indian restaurant for years. I will definitely be back again soon.

First time visit, so will reserve my full judgement until I have tried some more dishes. I need to go back for the pani puri and the dosa's. This time I had the mixed starter to try a few things. Nothing really special, but I liked the pakora's (onion ones and cauliflower ones). For mains had chicken tikka masala, shahee paneer, lacchi paratha. Big disappointment on the chicken tikka masala....it was not tikka ie. grilled in yoghurt/spices. Told the waitress but she didn't really know what to do. Flavour was decent as it was though. Everything was fresh. Shahee paneer was good and I liked the paratha bread. First try....was not put off as flavours were decent....but need to try some other dishes next time. Decor is very basic/cheap....which reflects in the price of the food so its ok....actually quite enjoyed sitting and watching some Bollywood videos from YouTube whilst eating :)
Regresaría a probar nuevos platos.
