Le Bistrot

My first visit to this quaint restaurant was for a business lunch during the week and I have to say that I've driven by the restaurant many times before but never paid much attention to it. Based on my recent dining experience, that has certainly changed moving forward! Sharing the same mall as Luna, the waiter that took care of our table told us this restaurant has been there for 33 years and has a Spanish heritage from a cuisine perspective. I used their valet parking (up the ramp behind the restaurant) and entered into a spacious restaurant with a bit of a early 90's Miami feel to it. The service was excellent from the minute the valet took my keys all the way thru the dining experience and the recommendation of the Sopa Centanario was an amazing selection! A soup/casserole that consists of a medley of delicious seafood (Corvina, Lobster, Shrimp, Octopus, Scallops cooked in a tasty seafood broth) served with white rice, this was a spectacular dish that represents the capabilities of the chef. One of my colleagues had the tripe, which he swears is one of the best "regular" dishes he's had quite some time. Quite simply, there is a reason why a restaurant weathers 33 years of changes to still deliver top notch food with excellent service in today's competitive dining landscape. If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out on a true gastronomical gem! For sure, you will see me there many times over!

Le Bistrot siempre sera de mis old times favorite... Siempre es una buena opcion para comer. Su servicio es rapido, son muy amables, y la comida siempre llega a tiempo. Y pues ni decir de la comida, siempre han mantenido la consistencia de una buena calidad en la comida. Me encantaron los langostinos en salsa de esparragos, la cazuela de mariscos es un must. La verdad todo lo que he probado esta muy rico. Vuelvo siempre que pueda! :)

La comida es bastante regular. El servicio es bueno.. el ambiente es bastante aburrido. Pienso que pueden mejorar la decoración, es bastante oscuro es sitio. Vine después de varios años, ya no creo que vuelva.

Por algo este restaurante tiene tantos años de existir. La comida es espectacular y muy consistente. No importa cuantas veces uno visite el lugar, todo siempre sabe igual de rico! Desde los patacones hasta la langosta, todo está delicioso. El ambiente en general sí está algo anticuado, pero creo que es parte de la personalidad del restaurante -como explicó el mesero, lo remodelan, pero siempre igualito, retapizan con el mismo tapiz, etc. Pedimos de entrada las arañitas que estaban espectaculares, piezas chicas y crispy. También patacones que estaban en su punto y escargots que tenían un sabor a ahumado delicioso. De plato fuerte una langosta al curry que estaba de muerte y un tamal con langostinos que de verdad me impresionó (además de rico la presentación esta muy linda). Lo único que no me mató fue el bisque de langosta ya que estaba un poco salado. Para comer rico, definitivo que es una super opción.

Algo que hace a este restaurante tan especial es su consistencia en la calidad de producto. La comida siempre esta rica. Las arañitas no fallan nunca! Son crunchies y la salsa tartara es bastante buena. De plato fuerte recomiendo el tamal de mariscos. También he comido la langosts al curry coco pero le falta curry para mi gusto porque es bastante dulce. El servicio es excelente, te tratan como en casa y la comida sale rápido. La decoracion es la misma de hace 30 años entonces el ambiente es bastante acogedor.
