Once upon a time in Panama, there was a renowned food critic by the name of JB Degustador. Known for his discerning palate and honest reviews, people eagerly awaited his opinions on the culinary offerings in the city. One sunny afternoon, JB Degustador found himself at a charming little restaurant called Frank's Place. Located in the heart of Panama City, this hidden gem was famous for its delicious seafood and delightful Italian-inspired dishes. Intrigued by the menu, JB decided to try two of the restaurant's signature dishes—the beer-battered calamari and the chicken saltimbocca. As he entered the cozy eatery, the aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, instantly making JB's mouth water. He settled into a comfortable booth and eagerly anticipated his first bite. The beer-battered calamari arrived at his table, beautifully presented on a white plate. The golden brown batter encased tender calamari rings, teasing his senses. JB took a bite and immediately realized that Frank's Place excelled in the art of frying. The batter was crispy, light, and perfectly seasoned, allowing the natural flavor of the calamari to shine through. Accompanied by tangy lemon wedges and a zesty homemade aioli, the dish was a true seafood lover's delight. Next up was the chicken saltimbocca, a classic Italian dish that Frank's Place had expertly crafted. The plate arrived, showcasing juicy chicken breasts topped with prosciutto, sage leaves, and a delicious white wine sauce. JB savored the first bite and was impressed by the tender chicken, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavors. The combination of the saltiness from the prosciutto, the earthiness from the sage, and the richness of the white wine sauce created a symphony of tastes that danced on his palate. Throughout his dining experience at Frank's Place, JB Degustador noticed the attention to detail and the passion evident in the preparation of the dishes. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was impressive, and the flavors were balanced to perfection. In the end, JB Degustador couldn't help but praise Frank's Place for their outstanding beer-battered calamari and chicken saltimbocca. He wrote a glowing review about the restaurant, capturing the essence of the experience. His words spread like wildfire, attracting food enthusiasts from near and far to Panama City, all eager to savor the culinary delights that Frank's Place had to offer. And so, the story of JB Degustador's food review cemented Frank's Place as a beloved culinary destination in Panama—a place where exquisite flavors combined with charming hospitality to create a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Franks Place isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience, and what truly elevates it are the people who make it shine. From the moment we walked in everyone was so welcoming. Angelo, the manager, greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. And then there's Rolando, the bartender who was fun and engaging and very customer service oriented. It was a lot of fun hanging out with him while he worked on drinks and we worked on our bottle of wine. We had the carpaccio and the tiradito, the carpaccio was unique and delicious. Looking forward to coming back soon and trying other dishes.
