Diablicos

This is my second visit to Diablicos and both times it's been a winner! My first visit was right after it opened--we stumbled on it while when we were going to an event at the National Theatre--and my 2 friends and I thought the food, service and decor were great. The second time I took out-of-town visitors there for lunch--the aranitas were excellent, the sancocho delicious, the whole fish got picked to the last morsel, and the plantain stuffed with seafood plate was licked clean. Service was attentive and the bill arrived promptly. What more can you ask? Another Casco winner!

Brand-new, fun interior, tipico Pamanamian food. We weren't certain we'd like the cuisine but all 3 of us were pleased with our selections. My ropa vieja was excellent--tasty without being tough or chewy--and it was served with plantains and arroz con guandu (one of my favorites). Located right behind Teatro Nacional and next to the Tourist Police office, it's impossible to miss, especially since there's a life-sized red devil out front. The owner, who speaks a tiny bit of English, told us that there will be tipico dancing at 9 pm on Fri & Sat nights. This place would be a great alternative to the usual tipico dance spots, since you can order dinner off the menu and the food is very good. Our only complaint--not a single vegetable or salad.

Great atmosphere, enjoy the ceviche, dinner was good too. Our waiter did his best we were a big group and seated upstairs so it made it a little slow but overall it was an enjoyable experience glad we went as a team

EL servicio fue agradeble, la comida saborsa y como siempre, en Casco Viejo el ambiente muy acogedor.
