Asu Mare

Better than ever! By far the best Peruvian food in the city and one of the top restaurants around. The quality of the ingredients make for the best ceviche to be found. And to top off the wonderfulness, the price remains reasonable.

So very glad to return for the best food in Panama. My family got to know Asu Mare when it opened six years ago in the Congrejo. The ambiance there did not rate five stars but the food was spectacular. The San Francisco location is a big step up and the food remains top notch. Bravo for a restaurant which has continued to provide exceptional food and service.

Mejor que nunca. Siempre ingredientes frescos y hecho a la perfección. El único sugerencia es añadir algo para ameliorar el ruido, como paneles acústicos en el cielo rasó.

The only problem with this wonderful restaurant is the noise level. But the food is dependably excellent. There is not better Peruvian cuisine to be found in Panama. And although we were there for an early dinner, the place filled up quickly. Even though every table was occupied, the service was attentive and helpful.

Without a doubt the best food in Panama. Unfortunately the place isn't attractive and is very noisy. But the service is wonderful and everything we have tried on the menu is divine. We plan to continue going as often as possible.
