Spend half my time between NYC and PTY and I love great food and service. This App is very useful when trying to decide what restaurants to visit from the vast majority of options offered.

It was excellent, and incredibly dining experience. Every single dish ordered was masterfully executed with a vibrant combination of flavors. I ordered the rack of lamb that was tasteful and cooked to perfection, the risotto with prawns had the perfect consistency and flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing food and professional and friendly service. I would definitely return on my next trip and it’s in my top 5 restaurants in the city.
R.i.c.h.a
We tried this new restaurant and were disappointed. the food is mediocre at best. I ordered the catch of the day and the fish portion was dried and overcooked. The garlic sauce non existent, which made it worst. My husband ordered the chuletón, which again was dry, and flavorless. The truffled French fries were soggy and not a hint of truffles or its flavor. The kibbeh with labneh again missed the mark. Pretty much all the dishes our party ordered were bland and lacked in flavor creativity. The only dish we concurred that was good is the tiradito crunchy. Service was good and attentive, however the food is so basic that it’s a one time visit for us.
Tu Fresca Langosta
Asu Mare (San Francisco)
Gentile Gourmet
I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant that most likely will be on my list of favorites. The Mediterranean appetizers were superb, excellent Labne, Hummus and the Kibbe was outstanding. The chicken taquitos were also delicious. I had the corvina on a bed of mashed yuca and the house salad, the fish was well seasoned and perfectly cook, so was my husband’s steak Arabe with a tahini sauce. We even save some space for dessert and the lemon meringue pie did not disappoint. We were so pleased with the food that we ended up buying some of the products to take home from the small market right next to the restaurant. Brilliant idea!!
The Dining Room At American Trade Hotel
Maito
Disappointed to say the least, the food was bland and boring. The only flavorful dish was the cochinita pibil appetizer, the shrimp wonton lacked everything, the wonton itself was bland and the sauce it came submerged in was also flavorless. The chuletón crocante was overly sweet, no balance between the flavors at all. The fish lacked consistent seasoning, part of it had flavor and other pieces were like forgotten, also there were a few pieces were the flesh was bitter. The fish was served topped with a combination of bean sprouts, cilantro and watercresses, which really did not make any sense. Definitely will not be coming back.
Padrón (Casco)
This gem located at la cuadra a very interesting concept of housing several restaurants at one location, think Chelsea Market or Little Spain in NYC. The food was flavorful with an authentic Mexican vibe. The drinks were great, specially the Zandunga, which perfectly marries the Smokey Mezcal with the fruit juices, not to sweet, not too strong, just the right way. We tried some tacos of Cochinita pibil, carnitas, pescado, lechona, which were all superb. The mole dish was also outstanding, one can really taste the subtle flavors that are combined in authentic Oaxacan or Poblano moles. To summarize Padron is a great place to visit for tasty food and creative drinks. Don’t miss it.
