The waiter explained that although there's an area we were supposed to sit was also booked for a Xmas party. Thus suggested that we sit in a more quiet area of the restaurant, though views may not be as good. We didn't mind as we came for the food, which came highly recommended by TripAdvisor and Degusto. I cannot add anything more to the other reviews' elaborate and imo accurate descriptions of the food served, the impeccable service received and restaurant ambiance. The staff was clearly making sure we were well looked after. From enquiring about allergies, pointing water and wine at intervals snd he, as the chairs are very spartan (read: hard) they accommodated by providing us pillows to sit on. Food tends to come out fairly quickly, but to stave the speed, they serve a bread basket, and amuse bouche before and a lemon sorbet palate cleanser between courses. As a smoker I wondered where I could light up as this was the 3rd floor after all. But I was shown to an atrium. Nice touch! In all a very successful evening.
