The Wallace
One of my favorite restaurants in Panama. This time I tried the Chookie Hen, a chicken burger with jalapeños. Wow is all I have to say. My husband had the Curry which was also excellent. The staff is super warm and the place has great vibes.
Hikaru (Marbella)
The rolls are fresh. They seem more authentic than most sushi places I´ve been to in Panama. There isn´t too much cream cheese, which is a major pet peeve of mine with rolls. When you leave the restaurant the waiters say goodbye to you in Japanese. The decor is beautiful with the leaves on the wall.
Os Segredos Da Carne
I visit this restaurant every few months. I´ll be honest, sometimes I go and the salad bar is more fresh or ample than others. Same with the meat...It has its ups and downs with quality. I am giving them all 5s though because I absolutely love the concept. There is only one other restaurant in Panama with the Brazilian churrasco, and I feel the same way about them. Please try to always be more consistent! Love you though. Great caipirinha and great vibes.
Jimmy`s
The waiters are always very nice. It´s a family-style environment. It´s not a flashy restaurant, but the food is excellent. My favorite dishes are: greek pizza, pita bread , saganaki, pulpo al carbon.
Fenicia
Every time I visit panama we come to Fenicia. I really like to split the Meza for 2 people. It comes with a variety of meats, kibbi, hummus, etc. The ambience is really nice with outdoor seating, but they do smoke hookah in case you don´t like that.
The Wallace
Came for lunch and tried their soup of the day, which was excellent and a really good price. The scotch egg as an appetizer was something I had never tried before, and was pleasantly surprised. Awesome food, vibes, and wait staff.
Urbano`s
Last week was my second time at Urbano's. The first was a couple months ago, and I had the Urbano's Burger. It was cooked to perfection and I loved their secret sauce. The portion was very generous too. Every ingredient was fresh and clean. The next time I went back to Panama, I heard that they serve Brazilian Feijoada on Saturdays. I'm Brazilian American and grew up eating feijoada, so I could not resist trying. It was delicious and very similar to what I grew up eating. The chef mentioned that it's very difficult to find brazilian ingredients in Panama, but I thought he did an outstanding job! I also tried their Coxinha, and I loved it (better than brazil sometimes). I also tried the desserts and was not disappointed! Finally, I highly recommend Urbano's for a great lunch with an excellent value and service. Next time I go to Panama, I'll most definitely lunch here again :).
ZK Nikkei Cuisine
This is my favorite restaurant in Panama. Every time I visit I have to come here, and have brought many friends. I love the freshness of their salmon, along with the sauces they make. The sushi also melts in your mouth like butter…the best I've had here.
Beirut (Area Bancaria)
I ate here because it was near my hotel, and considering the restaurant was packed I thought the food would also be excellent, but it was average for my group. I bought a dish that was similar to an eggplant lasagna(which I've had in Greece), so I was expecting it to taste similar. However, this version of the dish was more like an eggplant and tomato soup. I wasn't too fond of the texture. They had really nice decoration and Hooka, which I thought looked very authentic. Overall good atmosphere and service, but the food could definitely be improved.
