Segundo Muelle (Balboa Boutiques)
A delicious menu with A LOT to choose from. They offer both an English and Spanish menu with tons of pictures, which is very helpful. We started w/ the langastino wontons which where large and very tasty. We followed up with lomo saltado, with perfectly cooked steak and a cheese pasta with steak and two shrimp. Both were thoroughly enjoyable. For dessert, we enjoyed some vanilla ice cream and a brownie. They had 8 options to choose from and were were between this and the the icecream with the baked apples, we let the waiter choose. A fabulous meal.

Where do I begin? This was superb. I got the frozen lemonade to drink--so refreshing. It stayed cold the entire dinner and was blended perfectly so it NEVER watered down or had chunks of ice. We started off with the duck croquettes and the ossobuca cannoli. Each was so flavorful and lingered on the palate afterward. We then had the eggplant with cheese and bread. Another win. For dinner was The Big Papi, with huge meatballs (albondigas) and freshly made pasta with a smoked tomato sauce. SMOKED TOMATO SAUCE. It literally is in a smoker. PERFECTO! We also shared the braised short ribs with polenta. Honestly, this was more than enough for two people to share. Our waitress said, you really can't leave without dessert and we had the molten guava cake that has caramelized guava in it that spreads as you cut it open, with vanilla ice cream and crushed/powdered marzipan underneath. I asked to speak to the chef because honestly, he nailed it. He knows his stuff. The place has only been open for 6 months. Any Panamanian or visitor to Panama City needs to experience this menu. You won't be disappointed.
